1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Chimex Collections's website and placing orders, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Products & Descriptions

We take every care to ensure product descriptions, weights, purities, and images are accurate. However:

• All weights and measurements are approximate and subject to standard manufacturing tolerances.
• Product images are for illustration; minor colour variation may occur due to photography lighting.
• We reserve the right to substitute a product of equal or greater specification if a listed item becomes unavailable.
• Certificates (assay, grading, authentication) are issued by independent third parties and their terms apply.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are displayed in the store's listed currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Precious metal prices are subject to market fluctuation. We reserve the right to amend prices before an order is confirmed.
• Payment must be completed in full before goods are dispatched.
• For manual payment methods (bank transfer, crypto, etc.) orders are held for 72 hours awaiting confirmation. Uncompleted orders may be cancelled.
• We are not responsible for bank fees, currency conversion charges, or blockchain network fees.

4. Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation. We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders due to:

• Pricing errors or inaccuracies
• Stock unavailability
• Failed payment verification
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Failure to satisfy identity or compliance requirements

5. Shipping & Delivery

• Delivery timescales are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
• Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
• All shipments are fully insured to market value during transit.
• We are not liable for delays caused by customs, force majeure, or carrier issues beyond our control.
• Signature-on-delivery may be required. If no one is available, the parcel may be held at a depot.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our returns policy is described on the Returns & Refunds page. Precious metals and custom-order items may be subject to a restocking fee reflecting market price movement between purchase and return.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Chimex Collections or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Chimex Collections shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our site or products.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific order giving rise to the claim.
• We do not guarantee the investment value of any precious metal or gemstone product.

9. Compliance & Sanctions

We comply with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. We reserve the right to request identity verification for high-value transactions. Orders involving sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals will be rejected and reported to relevant authorities.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable territory.
